This is the best solution to a cool shirt, http://www.amazon.com/COOLSHIRT-PORTA-COOL-COMPLETE-SYSTEM/dp/B000K3IDY2 It has a small canister that can be hidden in the chest of your armor or put on a belt. It isn't cheap but it is a great way to do it.

I used magnets for a costume I did three years ago, a Tron Legacy outfit where magnets held the identity disc to the disc holder. This company, https://www.amazingmagnets.com, has a good amount of magnets to choose from and very high quality. If you can't find it here, you don't need it.
