unfortunately I'm not that well in with the guys running metrocon, but as for my color scheme it's gonna be the same as my colors on halo which is actually blue. I might see if my GF will paint my emblem for me she's alot better than I am at that.

Metrocon is in tampa and it's july 18-20 I'll be helping out there so I'll be there in and out of the suit

nice work, and you are better off just building the blades out of plexiglass or something similar I unfolded the blades and assembled the whole thing. It goes great all the way until you get to the top tips of the blades then it just kinda flattens out and looks bad. I'll take some pics of...

yep I remember seeing you there, my GF was the one who pointed you out to me. It was actually very cool meeting someone from the forums and seeing the armor closeup and done, it looked awesome.

Dude these are awesome models, even the unfinished lo res versions kick ass. plus the way you scaled these things makes it so much easier to match my height. keep up the good work! :thumbsup:

this looks so much simpler. I built slyfos and as awesome as that thing was good god was it complicated. Plus imad it too small so it turned into a nice decoration before I chucked it. can't wait to build this one tough.

These are great. The girlfriend saw the model and loves the fact that I'm building a suit for myself, but as soon as she saw this the first words out of her mouth were "HELL NO". I think i may try to make a small one though maybe for another doll or something.

110lb runs through fine and it holds its shape much better, and I've been using the lock tite super glue pen to hold everything together so far it seems to work. I started out just as a test doing the helm using regular paper and that sucker wouldn't hold it's shape if it were filled with foam.

yeah I've noticed the same thing I'm going to do piano hinge my helm as well and kinda try to keep the hinges on the inside. I wear glasses and am completely blind without them, and I can't squeeze my fat noggin in the helmet with them on.
