Yes. Change the printer settings to print letter instead of A4. Then relocate the pieces so they fit inside their respective frames. If they don't fit, chop em up in pepakura and relocate.

Roger that. Thanks!

Any chance of a letter sized (instead of A4)?

Sadly, A4 paper in my area is a myth like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.

Thanks!

Eventually I’ll fix all the files so that you get a choice of Letter or A4

Hey 1ManBattalion, you should make a smooth ODST helmet.

I pretty sure Ruze has done a Halo 3 ODST smooth unfold, but give it time for me to play around with it.

It's improvements like these that make it hard for me to decide to do a Spartan first or ODST. :D

Thanks!

Russ

I'm jealous.

Everyone is going to have an easier time smoothing than me. :cautious:

Also, don't try smoothing the thigh pieces. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but the weta versions are polygonal.

........Yes, we’ve noticed that. Those of us who had the privilege of helping SKG with the initial R&D of ODST project have studied the Landfall and Combat videos extensively. Great pain were taken to ensure the accuracy of these file prior to there initial release.

The part of which I have smoothed, are parts which can be smooth while keeping with accuracy. Parts which do not require it, will not be done.

Coming Soon to My Thread!!

The ODST Close Quarters Shoulder!
ODSTCQShoulderCompare01.jpg
Still needs more work

Only when I compared the two shots did I notice afew things that has fixing. I'm having trouble trying to make the small center part, the bit that joins the round shoulder to the Delta bicep. since there are hardly any clear pictures it makes it hard and i was going to leave it out.

Tell me what you think guys, all comments welcome.

A slightly updated shot of my ODST CQ Shoulder and Bicep guard
ODSTCQShoulderCompare02.jpg

I've reworked many points in the Delta Bicep to match the concept picture as much as I can. The middle component (the modified cube) is just a space filler, I still need ideas for that part.

that looks awesome so far! i wish i could use 3D programs.
Thanks, I’ve only been using metasequoia since November last year, it’s free and it’s easier to learn than Maya or Studio Max.

please you all make me sad :( :( :(
yes the sig was to big but don't worry a friend helped and now it is perfect!!!:lol::lol:

what about the armour 1manbattalion? any progress?
Cheer up mate, we still lov ya! ;)

As for updates, I’m just adjusting bits here and there until I feel happy with them. I’m going to try to add supports, and then I still got to unfold them.

Not long guys, if your lucky in a few hours.

The reason it has taken longer is because I was making my ODST armour, and wasted about 25 sheets of card on parts that weren't "Right" so with that I will be creating new Movie accurate parts as I go. Some will just require minor adjustments some will need a major overhaul, any major updates/upgrades will be posted here for everybody to have a go at.

The first Update piece to be release will more than likely be a new version of the torso which will be more ergonomical to the user. without requiring you to mod the peice too much after it been constructed, with these mods the torso will no longer cut (or not as much) into your neck or your shoulders.

Post any suggestions you may have as at the end of the day it'll be you that is using these files! :)

EDIT: Of course, it's all pending approval from SKG to edit her models

You are truly a talented member of the 405th infantry division, ODST Detachment.

Its really nice, im redoing my belt with this new piece. ITs ging to save me tons of bondo...

@1MB
I would say redo the existing pieces, or make the game type gauntlets and tights. There aren't many people that make more then the helmet, and the people that are making more armor want to finish that first.
