hey, i know it has nothing to do with halo, but i had to share it with others, if it gets deleted, well had it coming, anyhow.

A new A nightmare on elm street is coming out on 2010, and yes, i love this movies, grow up with 'em, and im drooling waiting for more info,

michael bay's name is in it, so i hope is super, or atleast better than the hulk on 2000,i've seen the remakes of old but awesome scary movies, and i have to say that some do disappoint me, hope this is not the case.

so leave a comment, share your ideas, whatever, or just enjoy the trailer.

pros, new scary movies (better be good)

cons, why in the hell on april, wouldn't be better on halo-ween?

From what I've heard they're not letting Wes Craven have anything to do with it,

he's completely shut out. I've also heard that Freddy is going to be just CGI

and voice acting which is sort of disappointing. However I have heard that

Robert Englund will be making a *very* small cameo in the film which is the

only reason I will be going to see it. :)

I hate Hollywood remakes, they always screw it up, there's a million original ideas out there waiting to be turned into movies... pick one. As soon as Robert Englund said no I made up my mind, this will be a terrible film.

Cheers,

Kensai

From what remakes I've seen so far the only one

I've actually enjoyed was the 2004 Dawn of The Dead

remake, other than that remakes just don't have plotlines

anymore, it's all just sex appeal. Producers and Directors

really need to get over themselves.

It looks good enough from the trailer (I like that Jackie Earle Haley is in it, he's sufficiently creepy enough in my book) my big gripe about remakes like this is the fact that we're so reliant on special effects these days. I remember The Exorcist scaring the pants off of me when I was a kid and that was mostly just costuming and writing. Seems like some movies these days forgo a good story and well developed plot in favor of flashy special effects, which unfortunately do not make a great movie (case in point Transformers 2.) It looks good but I'm still a bit skeptical.

p.s. Tacos are in fact overrated.
