So I've been thinking about this for a while. There's this non-profit called A Soldier's Child Birthday Foundation. Its run by a teacher at my school and based here in Tennessee. They do birthday parties and other things for the children of soldiers so that they know somone still cares.

"Our mission is to serve the children of fallen military personnel who have given their lives on active duty while defending the United States of America."

So is anyone interested in getting involved with this?

I think that this is a great idea, but I'm afraid I live in the U.K., so can't help. This is definitely worth the time of anyone able to attend, in my opinion. I think 405thers woul be stupi to pass this up.

I'm interested. Any chance of some form of it being here in Texas? I live in Killeen, right next to one of the biggest army bases in the world. Being a military brat, I'd be interested in helping those who weren't lucky enough to have their loved one return home, like I was.
