an alternitive to fiberglass resin.

I have an idea of what this can be used for. If it makes the armor almost rubber-like, couldn't you use it on places where the armor should have a rubber like texture? Instead of casting parts in silicon rubber, you could just spray them with the truck bed liner and them apply them. Maybe coat them with resin a few times before hand to make it a little more rigid, but seems useful at least.
