Any tips for a shotgun?

hello everyone

i was looking at the pepakura shotgun today and thought (and i quote)...

"how in gods name do you fold that!"

any tips on how to do that the non-papercraft way?

Pepakura really is your best bet if you are a noob to all this. If you think that is tricky, you won't like the alternatives. The first is cardboard. You could build up a sliced weapon where it's a 2d model that is layered up to look 3D. The second is you could modify a nerf gun, that is a popular method around here and yields some good results. The other one is sculpting the whole thing from scratching from clay, then casting it into plastic. Papercraft really is the best place to start in my opinion.
