So there you have it. I hope this helps.

The chest rig also serves as stomach and side padding, adding to the illusion of an undersuit.

One good site to read and price is (i am not affiliated nor have i purchased from them... but good prices)

a lot of that stuff is used for the marine armor.

I used most of this style tactical gear when in Afghanny Land... I'm also going to rig a "Camel Back" water system inside the back pack to keep hydrated...

That Molle Leg rig is perfect for thigh armor! That almost exactly what I made with straps and buckles from the fabric store. For that price though.. just buy it and save the time!

Great find Brutus!

Thanks, Sean! Off topic, I posted pics of the yet unfinished helm kit on the Special Invite thread! It was a hit during the weekend!

Well, I was hoping it was an original idea on my part... but with all the great minds here, I'm not surprised! Besides, if you do the vid, that cuts out alot of trial and error for me! :p

Thank you for the bump sir! Hadn't thought of using those drop leg rigs to hold the thigh armor, it's an awesome idea. MOLLE is seriously excellent. Holds gear, tough as nails, and looks good with the costumes, to boot.

The drop leg rig works with all thigh pieces. I use it in the MKVI, but will use it for the ODST... keeps those bad boys on place.

Looks like great gear. And I'm definitely loving the prices.

Any comments on how the Molle vest would work better at keeping one's pieces secured, than a Pressure Suit, upper body, from say 661? Specificly for Mjolnir armour, not ODST.

I secured the shoulders and the abs to the vest... keeps that little freak in place. I also secured the cod to the bottom of the vest... works great. Chicago screws and zip ties.

Also, you can attach the shoulder strap to the vest instead of running it behind the neck.

Could you possibly post a link to the Vest you mentioned in the first post?I'm trying to search, and I've found the Leg Systems, but I haven't found the Vest like that one, and I haven't found one in black. That one just matches ODST gear more than any vest I've seen so far.I understand this was back in April, so if you can't find the exact same I'll settle for something else, but I'd appreciate it if you could look. Thanks! All the ones I found on that site are either more like a full vest, or when they're the style with the straps, the straps are just thin nylon. ODST straps seem to be a little thicker, exactly like the one you posted.

EDIT: Nevermind, found it, turns out I was searching for Molle Vest Rig when I should've searched Molle Chest Rig.
