That looks like you fiberglassed the outside, you dont do that you're supposed to fiberglass the inside, but yes, you can use bondo.

because-

plus i need the strenght to stop 350 fps Airsoft Pellets


with resin on the outside, you'll have a hole but it stops at the fiberglass that would be inside, but fiberglass at the top, i stuck my gun right up to it with no damage at all

it's really not that hard to sand it as i taught it would be

use the mud technique sigma made for those kinds of things. i recommend sanding it down, get rid of those cardboard ridges, refiberglass the sanded parts, a couple coats of resin and sand it down again. it should be pretty smooth then, so use the mud technique. sand again where needed and finish it off.
