Clone Trooper Armour

Eager to check these out mate, seeing as I scrapped my Clone armor project.

The link doesn't work though? I got a page error message??

I worked with the 3D model for a while but it's not suitable for pep in my opinion. I even remodelled most of it but found that proportions were off for it to fit real people without heavy modding.

Just my 2cents worth

Thanks bro.

I only scrapped the clone armor project. All my other files are still there though. The 3D model wasn't mine to begin with(I think it was made by a guy called Emilio?) and the more I worked on it the more I noticed inaccuracies and proportion problems when fitting it over a human dummy model. It's good as a 3D model but not so much for a pep file. Again, just my opinion.

Yea, I couldn't pull it up in Pep2, then I realized that It was because it crashed, and I tried to get something CLOSE to a pep out of it, and It's just got too many anomalies.... Can't pep it, and I know my friend Sharkhead can't if Skip can't, Grrrr, back to the drawing board of trying to figure out how to use metasequoia since I can't get 3ds max to work..... It's a nice model though if you ask me.

The actually CGI files used in the movie had the same problems, so I'm not surprised you had the issue.

If you compare screen shots of the clones in the movies to other characters, or even the live action actor who played the clones, there is no way they could fit in the armor, it's almost more than skintight, and there were clipping problems with the helmet where the head model under the helmet was actually protruding out of the cheeks and sides of the helmet. It's really evident in Episode III in the scene where Cody has his bucket off, if you compare the later shots of him with te bucket on, to those shots of him without it, his head doesn't really fit inside!
