I've been researching the look of Master Chief's helmet and there are conflicting references regarding the reflectivity and even the color of its face shield. Some photos show it as a mirrored gold finish, others show it as a buffed metallic orangish/amber, and I've even come across photos where the recessed areas are gold and the raised portion is chrome (silver). Yes, many of these conflicting photos are in-game screen captures, and many more are of prop replicas (and not necessarily homemade). I realize that ultimately it's personal choice/preference for what color I make the shield for my build, but if I were to strive for accuracy then which color would I be aiming at? Thanks.
