Back in October, around my birthday, one of my garrison mates was supposed to hook a bunch of us up with a free professional photoshoot from a photographer friend of his who was looking to expand his portfolio. Unfortunately things fell through when I contacted the photographer to set up my times, and he told me that I needed to pay a $50 sitting fee becuase now the shoot was no longer free.
So, I didn’t do it. But I had really wanted some pictures of Resident Evil Umbrella Corporation Guard, because I never really get the chance to wear it, as well as some pictures of my Clonetrooper, because even though I have worn that almost exclusively for the past six months at 501st events, no one ever gets any pictures of it.
So I was home in the final days before my winter break from college was up, and I realized two things. First, I had gotten a new camera for Christmas. My old digital camera had a bad habit of blurring out the top and bottom of all my pictures. And second, my parents were repainting my brother’s old room, but were in the early stages, which meant that the wall were a solid blank color, and all the furniture had been moved away form the walls. Bingo! Perfect place to take pictures!
So I set up my camera on a tripod with a timer and finally managed to get some good shoots of two of my costumes. Unfortunately my Mark V was down at my apartment at school ,and as such I as unable to get any pictures of it.
That said, enjoy.
