I put a visor in a bought at the local Kawasaki dealer. it's an Icon visor, they were also kind enough to give me a couple of clear visors for free to practice on.

Damn, Doc... you never fail to amaze, buddy! That helmet looks killer. I agree with Keegan that the darker green actually works better. Awesomeness, dude!

Question, though; I noticed a small recessed area on the forward-most top vent. Did you use some artistic license in applying that detail, or is that something I've simply missed seeing on the in-game CG model?

Well... I suppose if I had an untimely demise I would feel obligated to leave my armor to someone who would love it, and my Molds to someone who has experience with molding and the cash flow to do it. You def. qualify for the mold.

Well I only have the one mold, but if there were any spare casts laying around, sure Sure sure Frost, I'll "will" you in...

Actually I'm going to try to "ghetto" mold my own helmet, I work good with plaster, so I was thinking of resin/glassing the FS original HD helmet, then adding the visor in and then plaster molding it into pieces rather than being 1 piece. Then I was going to try making the cast pure fiberglass. I've read about similar objects being done this way, but for a helmet, I'm not sure. Heck there's always hot glue, but that would melt if it ever got hot, which is a major downside.

i may just ruin the entire project, but heck, if it teaches me it's fail, it shows all not to attempt.
