This last weekend, a small team of Energibill TimmyD and a new friend quantumcosplay0 attended DreamHack in Stockholm. We did not have a booth so this was treated more as a recon and meetup rather than an official booth for the 405th.
Despite that we were very well received. DreamHack filmed us multiple times, at the end of the cosplay parade and in the cosplay lounge, we had pictures taken to be featured in a cosplay magazine, and a private videographer did some filming.
During our escapade we talked with 2 companies that organize and host booths for these types of events that want to potentially help us arrange more events. Details have been passed and handled accordingly through leadership.
All in all we had a good time. Couldn’t go more than 2 meters without being stopped for 3-7 photographs. The team are more motivated than ever to improve their cosplays. There will be more activity in Scandinavia going forward!
