eufyMake UV Printer

I was curious if others in this scene have been keeping an eye on this UV printer that eufy is supposedly shipping out in a few months?

From what I'm seeing, I'd be curious if a user could take a rough 3D print of an armor piece, and have textures/details printed upon it with this. Potentially skipping any post-processing of a print. I'm not sure if/how it'd work on any foam parts to be fair.

I am not familiar with UV printers so I thought I'd pipe up in here, and see if others were! I'm not that artistic when if comes to paint. If I can't mask it and spray it, I'll struggle. So I thought this could be a really cool way to give any surfaces a texture and detail I'd want to go for without needing a talent with a paintbrush.

It's a tall cost however

You still have to sand and post-process a 3d print. The UV printer isn't going to magically erase the layer lines, fill divots/defects and so on. Just accept that you will always be doing some level of post processing even on a pure resin print there's some.

That UV printer is still basically a flat material printer. Painting. Signs. Vinyl wraps. It can print on something cylindrical like a tumbler using a secondary rotator to turn the cylinder while the printer is only printing on the top face as it turns. There's no real way for it to print on anything of odd shape or follow contours of armor etc.
