I am looking for someone that can pep me an EVA helmet, since i have no skills with Pep whatsoever, and I need something to start with.

Regards, Dan. (speeddemon6)

Umm...hey, try to make one yourself. Its much easier and won't cost you a dime.

Try to make some handplates or some Halo 1 marine armor to get the hang of making pep armor.

well i just found out that i need the license key for pepakura.... great...

you can get the free version of pepakura designer 3 for free, you just cant save or export your files, which can be a pain, but its better than not being able to make any armor

p.s. its what i use and it works fine for me, just make sure you write down the scale factors of each piece incase it doesnt come out the right size the first time and you have to adjust it

good luck!

It's Pepakura Viewer you'll be after. It's FREE. It'll allow you to view and print pep files. You don't need the Designer. The only catch is you may not be able to scale the model (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). It'll get you started though.

Pepakura Viewer

There's a free version of the designer that can be used for scaling as well.

I started out with using the viewer, but there's no way to scale in it. So if you get a High-def piece that's too big/small, there's no point if all you've got is the viewer.

Anyway... back to the topic. I know you're new here, but it's kinda bad mojo to just walk in here and ask for something. Typically you should offer to either buy it, or trade for it. Since you're asking for just the pepped piece itself, then i imagine you don't have anything to trade though.

i don't know if it's against forum policy... (If the mods don't like it... remove this post)

but you can easily get a keygen for papekura from astalavista.box.sk

just have a good anti virus and don't clic on any of the pop-up... but I unlocked mine that way... but the site is full of "hazard potential"
Warez (cracked software or keygens) are frowned upon in the forum, so edit your post, SteelSpartan :) Trust me, I've seen the mods' stance on this.

Anyways, you don't need the key if you're going to just print the files and scale them. If you make your own files and plan to save them, then you do need the key, but it shouldn't come to that unless you plan on releasing files to us.

Go to the download hub and download the EVA. Since the visor covers nearly the whole thing the pep part will be very easy.

Under creation discussion>pepakura and cardboard.

the easiest way to leanr to do something is to try it. like ACDCrockr209 said, pick a really easy file to start with. that way youll make the green mistakes everyone does and wont feel like you ruins a 50+ peice project. there are also some really good how to videos up on this site and youtube that will more than fill you in. and if all else fails pm (private message) someone to ask questions to. were all here to boost eachother's moral and comment on our builds. its called a community for a reason. i may not be a veteran yet but feel free to message me and ill see what i can do to help you with some of your problems.
*edit
heres one of the best to help lead you through it http://405th.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1648
its a very good, very informative thread. read up as much as you can before you start your project. itll save you time, sweat and materials down the road. after all, card stock gets expensive after a while

Oh, word of advice about the resizing. What ever you add to your helm, you add to your visor, so it would be in proportion.
