I use 3ds Max studio too. You must click on "Modify" ( blue rainbow icon in up right corner of screen ), select "Edit Mesh" and click on the red cube ( or other ) than you must click on part of model and clik "delete" button

Does anyone have a copy of the unfolded Belakor T-45d helmet in letter size? The front page links are deceased. PS, thanks for getting some non squished ones up Bel, really appreciate it.

There's a mod up on Fallout Nexus for the Tactics power armor helm, not sure how to nab the model from there but that would be your best starting point.
