fibreglass question

i have bben looking at making fibre glass armour and i was wondering what amount of fibre cloth would be needed. would 8meters squared be enough for a full average sized set of armour. also how much resin would i need? thanx :mrgreen: :hyper:

it depends on how many layers you lay down

I'd buy the biggest can of resin you can.

how many layers would i need for it to be strong enough to wear/move around in

For my helm I've used only one layer.

cloth you might need a few layers around 3

alright thanx. would this be the same if i used fiberglass mat?(3 layers)
