First Armor completion

I have been working on and off... mostly off on this armor for 2 years, I started when I first joined the 405th, then ''abandoned'' it and started on a MK5B armor, paused the MK5B to complete this project and now I am feeling FANTASTIC

I had ALOT of ups and downs with my first printer, layers not that good, ALOT of sanding needed, didn't know what filler primer was at first.

over the last 2 years I have FINALLY completed my UNSC MARINE armor, the Upper body is H3 and the Lower body is REACH

it has been an AMAZING journey for myself, I have learned skills, bought alot of tools, wasted countless rolls of 3D filament
but I will be attending the Quebec city comiccon with fellow members this October as a HALO COSPLAYER for the very first time.

The shins are a tight fit to put on but comfortable once done.

the helmet is big, I am planning on making a smaller one

Just attended my first Convention as a member of a group (HCC)

I have found that my armor is still in need of ALOT of work, paint has chipped away more than I expected, came to realize the clear coat wasn't thick enough. and the back armor is in need of MORE PADDING for the shoulders.

all in all GREAT week end so far.

Upgrades are underway

smaller helmet (fits properly) with more details
ab plate added
shin and knee armor of Halo 3

also will be changing certain buckles for more "tactical" ones and adding more nylon straps to hold certain pieces better
