The lower and upper chest pieces are complete and secured together! Took some work trying to make them fit but I’m happy with the results

It's looking good for a first build. For some advice, I would suggest holding the main pieces together with Original Super Glue. It dries fast, and very strong.

The great journey is nearly at its end, the back piece has been connected to the sides and the two halves have been merged. The chest only needs the thrusters now and that’ll be it

Managed to complete both jet packs in one day and secured them via loctite and super glue. Everything’s painted up and it looks better than I hoped! Unfortunately my codpiece securing came loose but it should be finished by friday!

To echo and add on to what others have said, you can use nylon webbing or elastic to keep your thigh armor from slipping down! Either attach the straps to your belt armor or wear a thin belt underneath it and attach to those. Nice progress so far!

Not bad at all! At first glance, the chest seems really high like it's almost choking you. The cod armor also seems really low but I can't tell what your attachment method is- I suppose that's a good thing though!

So my chest piece is a bit smaller than I wanted, but that’s what first builds are for aren’t they. The codpiece and buttplate are connected with two pieces of Velcro that I slip into, looped onto that Velcro are straps that click into the thigh pieces to keep them in place. Unfortunately this means my codpiece sits pretty low and my chest is too high to compensate
