This is my first thread, I was asked by my 15 year old if I could throw together a Master Chief cosplay oufit for a party he is going to on Halloween (in Australia no less). So after a lot of searching the web and finding both the RPF and 405th, I utilised the pep files from all the fabulous folks in both communities and what follows are some of the pictures showing the build at stages and then my son in hte final armour (Bucket minus visor). Yes Those are crocs in the boots, my reason for this is because my son has size 13 feet and when I tried working with sneakers in the boots the issues of getting in to the shoe while it was in the boot proved a problem, so I took an old pair of crocs and glued them into the boots. This gave an easy way to get the boots on and off, a cooler way to keep his feet from over heating and a simple remedy to an issue I had. I'm not sure how everyone else went about it as I didn't have a lot of time to research and create so simple worked fast for me. No I didn't use bondo on the armour and to be frank the hot glue and foam gave it a battered repaied and repainted look almost consistent with combat repairs so I like that look.

I am seriously happy with it myself as it is all foam except the helmet which is paper that is resined inside and out and plastidiped. The first few are me checking sizes and fit and the last are my son Today (25/10/15) wearing the completed armour. The side arm is the M6D Magnum and was done with the pep file (still think it is too big) even though I used the measurements as indicated by Halo Wiki. Yes the Mags can be removed and I also did a bit of research looking for where teh side arm is meant to be located, and the only image I found showed it attached to the thigh, so for this purpose it is attached to the right thigh (my son is a lefty and unimpressed about that). I know there ads a few faults and issues with it but for a first build as I said I am wrapped with it.... Again I would love to say a HUGE thankyou to all the folks who posted the pep files I used.
