First set of armor - EOD Helmet

Today marks the completion of my first set of armor!!

Starting back in 2023, I got a 3d printer for my birthday (Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus). As soon as I got the printer, I started printing this armor. Since then, a lot has happened… I went to and graduated from graduate school, got married, and eventually got my first full time job. With all of that happening, I still wanted to complete this armor. It’s been a dream of mine to have a suit especially with an EOD helmet. Putting it on today was honestly a dream come true. From seeing master chief as a kid for the first time to being able to be a spartan myself.. couldn’t be happier <3

I’m going to be wearing it to its first event in a week. It’s a trick or treat event in my hometown :)

Hope you all like it!

Solid work!!!

Looks great, If I may ask do you have any fan systems in your armor? Building my first armor as well and I only have helmet fans so far.
Zyggie, no fan systems :(( I didn’t include any electronics in the armor set. Might be a worthwhile idea. If I start breathing too heavily the visor fogs up pretty bad, lol

Welcome to the club Spartan! Looks amazing! Great job.

Nothing you've haven't heard before, but this is awesome work!

I'm loving that clean look with the weathering here and there, and that orange, what is that orange? Looks dang good.

Thank you for sharing and welcome to the forums! Hope to see you around more and pictures of future projects. :D

For future fan work because it was mentioned, we have our Tutorial Index that has a few established electronics threads for reference. There's plenty of other discussions of how people have done it out there though.
