Um i havent started yet because i wand to make sure every thing right and make sure i know what to do.
i ve got some questions and i hope someone could answer them
1: do i need to use fiberglass cloth AND resin ( i see videos on youtube where people just coat the stuff on there with a brush without applying any cloth)
2: do need to resin/glass inside AND outside of the helmet? if not which side is better to do?
3: Can u use bondo to make details or is it just for smoothing?
4: can u sandpaper the bomdo if nessiacary?
5: what is spot putty???

again i relly hope someone finds this and can help thank you

1. yes you have to use both of them
2. the fiberglass is inside with the resin and outside just the resin
3.bondo is for details
4 yes you can use a sandpaper or a dremel
5I dont know what spot putty is xD

If small holes or voids appear in your fiberglass or bondo work, you can use Spot Putty to fill them. It's like an instant bondo, and is available at Home Depot in the paints.

spot putty is used by modellers ... for instance model train hobiest's another name for it is green putty. Its air drying so no mixing is needed and its great for going over little holes or low spots you missed during the bondo stage.
It should only be used on small imperfections its fast drying and easy to sand and it saves you having to waste mixing up a batch of bondo when you only need a small amount.
Hope this helps.
