I have a quick Q on flex foam 25. I've been thinking about using this for the back piece of an Halo 3: ODST build. I'd really like to get that back piece to be flexible yet still look good since costume need to be comfortable and a hard back is anything but. So what do the experts think; will it work?

I would do flexfoam 10 as it is a softer foam for comfort... I will assume the armour is made of some resin? If it is urethane then the foam will stick to it like crazy... foam is a little unruly when pouring but it is easy to shape with a carving knife.

Yeah the back armor is going to be SmoothCast 320 for the plates. Then I'm going to cut the separate sections free and connect them with flexfoam so I bend or twist. I also want to make the neck ridge area out of flex foam. The back plate is very think in the mid back so I'm a little worried about tearing particularly if I rotate my upper body. Last question... I swear, do any of the flex foam series expand/contract like normal urethane foam? Could cause some issues, don't want to look like the hunchback of UNSC if it can be helped.
