Fuel Rod Gun

I was thinkin about it but has anyone made a pep Fuel Rod Gun?

as far as i know, i dont think one has been made, personally i would scratch built it... but it wont be easy

The Fuel Rod Gun has too many details and is too large to be adequately put in Pepakura.

If you have a month or two of spare time, make it out of cardboard, and add details yourself, then follow the regular resin/fiberglass/bondo pattern from there.

Otherwise, you'll need to shape and mold it from clay, which will take long, and cost more.

There is no pep FRG. As stated, too complex for pep. One or three are "in the works" that I know of. Scratch building would probably be easiest.

I am actually working on a Halo PC version, for that will probably be the only one that can adequately work in pep.

Alright, about to print the test run of the Halo PC Fuel Rod.

@Pacbury - I kinda cleaned up the unfolding, put it to letter, and did some editing to cut down how many pages you needed to print to make it. If it is alright with you, I'd like to upload it for everyone to use. I'll give you credit for the file (unless it was the ACTUAL Halo PC model ).

Ok...so I'm not alone in wanting to make a FRC myself. Would it be far fetched if I tried to used aluminum sheeting and fiberglass to make it? It would be hard, and take sometime, but I think the payoff would be great to have an original and unique weapon like that. =/ I unno. XD

If you mean a Fuel Rod Cannon, good luck, because that's what's on a Banshee. If you mean a Fuel Rod gun, it will be hard, but I've never personally worked with aluminum sheeting, so not 100% sure if it's too hard or even possible.

Aluminum sheeting is really durable and light and is easy to bend and contort. The only problem is, if you get it wrong too many times you have to scrap the sheet you're working with and start over =/ From my experience? Yeah you could use it, but I would only recommend it for people who have worked with sheet metal before.

I was also thinking it would work more for the fuel rod gun that's arm mounted to the Hunters.
