Howdy all, I'm trying to step up my game, I have cosplayed for years and always wanted to do Fulgore as I have never seen one done.
I have chatted with the group before, different cons around the Midwest and California and yall have always been supportive
Anyway, I'm not familiar with building armor, I'm leaning towards foam for price and comfort. I have access to 3D printing through a friend for anything specific or odd.
I have watched a few videos on beginner foam so I got a little bit of understanding of what I'm attempting.
All that said I had a few questions while I'm gathering supplies to start,
1) what/where would be a good place to look for a pattern to start from? I'm used to modifying patterns for simpler cosplays as I don't have much luck with free hand. Or am I overthinking this?
2) the gauntlets have a sorta ethereal blade, I had an idea of a Tesla effect under clear plastic but not sure how practical that would be, or if anyone had any ideas. Worst and simplest case, I just use simple blue plastic cut to shape
3)how do you approach the helmet? Would it be worth trying to 3D print it?
Thanks for letting me chat with y'all and I'm looking forward to working with ya
