Anybody else notice the lame T-bar that extends from the handle to hold the blades together? *Shakes head*

Actually, if you look closer, its more of a "D" shaped support piece that extends internally from each end of the sword's hilt

I would agree with you on the first part of your post to an extent, it's true that someone did make this (probably a group of people) but at the same time they are a licensed replica maker and a lot is expected because of that.

I also agree with tubachris, it could be an early prototype... just look at the first pics that surfaced of the MR Stormtrooper helmet, it looked pretty weird but the final product was nothing like the prototype and actually looks quite nice so there is hope for the MR Sword

I understand that it has been made before, Im not denying it, and I think that its an amazing fanmade prop, nonetheless.

Its just now, that a major company is in on the halo prop scene, these things are more subject to critisism and scrutiny then fanmade things, because we are often expecting the "best" quality and accuracy from them, especially master replicas. These threads are just here for us to express our thoughts on the subject, not ignore the fact that replica swords have been made by other members here.

the day they come out with an assualt rifle with a working counter and sounds i will have a new topic ASAP!!! i would love a AR like that. and those sabers were like 125$ if a AR was that i buy i in a heart beat. But thtas euro so i dont want it that much. im gettin mes a rubies suit.
