Just about calling it done on the chestplate after attaching the backpack straps. I might add another detail to the underarms on the sides but this is about done.

Decided to work on the closer for the chest. Actually haven’t completed that yet. So I decided to do another armor piece that will go over the existing opening and will be secured with Velcro on one side and hot glue on the other.

It looks too clean though......the rest of the armor is scuffed from war, but the straps are pristine......

Couple things left. Still need to paint my smg, add D rings to a few places and cut and sownthe extras to my leg and arm strapping.

Throw a little bit of legitimate dirt on the straps, and that will help add to the weathered effect.

Or maybe he's a true ODST and he keeps his equipment clean and in good working order!

I was thinking about getting a tan dirt color acrylic and going through with something like that on some spots so maybe I will! Thanks!

You could even fray some of webbing a bit.......a stray cut here or there won't hurt.
