Wow, so, I was gone for a good long time there. Long delay, but I assure you all, I've been steadily pepping away (though certainly not speedily). I'm putting off printing out anything else though as the printer is getting exceedingly low on ink, and I'm not the only one using it. That aside, I have been able to finish up one of the shins and a shoulder.

These are all the pep pieces that are waiting for resin. Speaking of which, the helmet was resined Thursday, and is currently awaiting it's fiberglass. It came out really nice. The only warping was at the very bottom, but hopefully bondo can hide that. It also desperately needs to be sanded, but that will wait until a later date. For now, I'm just going to admire the work (and be happy that it isn't going to be accidentally destroyed at this point).

After this, the next step will be to do the chest. I can feel the powers of enthusiasm slipping quickly, so I need to get that done as soon as possible. It's a big piece, so I'll need all the willpower I can muster to get through it. I'll hopefully have that done by next Friday at the extreme latest. Also on the list of to-dos is that I need to cut the fiberglass cloth up ahead of time (last time I did it on the spot and found myself with some rather messy work). The schedule is tightening up, but I have confidence I can make it.

Wow, so, looooong time since I updated last. I've been swamped lately, between school, family stuff, etc. Anyways, despite not having any real time to spare, I did manage to get a good deal of work done. No pictures though, since the camera makes it a pain to transfer images to my computer. Not really worth it at the moment (though I might put some up later tonight)

Anyways, as for what I managed to do, I completed the torso section last week. It took me something like 3 days straight of pepping with minimal breaks for food, water, and sleep. Imagining what an HD Mk. VI would entail makes me shudder. Anyways, it came out really well in my opinion, though I wasn't exactly expecting it to be in so many pieces. Makes it easier to strap though, so I guess it's alright.
I also resined a massive amount of the pieces I've pepped today. I got the side pieces and chest piece of the torso done, as well as one of the shins, knees, shoulder, and the second elbow (the costume is looking a good deal asymmetrical at the moment). I've still got to do a number of pieces, but I am going to go for that over the course of the week. Most of it's pretty simple pepping. By nest Sunday, I hope everything will be ready for glassing. Time is getting short, but progress is still steady.
