Halo 3 Custom First Build

Howdy y’all,

Been lurking for a minute but started a custom Spartan build in January with the goal of finishing it by Halloween this year.

I’m taking bits from robotchicken and Sir Palesalot’s Mark vi armor as well as a modified helmet from vrogy’s marine files.
Here’s the progress so far.

I found this concept off Reddit of an “infantry Spartan” and thought it was cool.

Thanks! No, I used play-mat foam and a little bit of cardboard for the face plate.

Quick update. Managed to get down to the wire on it but paint is done and it’s on to the hookups.

I flipped to the lower rez forearms from Halo CE and grabbed Sgt. Johnson’s pauldrons partly to save time and partly because I liked them better.

It seems to pass at 5 ft so I’m happy there.

I always love to see custom designs. Not that I’m game armor is bad by any means but it’s always nifty seeing concepts from people come to life.
