Halo 3 Custom First Build

Howdy y’all,

Been lurking for a minute but started a custom Spartan build in January with the goal of finishing it by Halloween this year.

I’m taking bits from robotchicken and Sir Palesalot’s Mark vi armor as well as a modified helmet from vrogy’s marine files.
Here’s the progress so far.

I found this concept off Reddit of an “infantry Spartan” and thought it was cool.

Looking great! Is the helmet made out of cardboard? It looks like a 3D printed helmet. If it's cardboard you did a fantastic job with it!

Thanks! No, I used play-mat foam and a little bit of cardboard for the face plate.

That is some serious talent! Keep doing good work!

Quick update. Managed to get down to the wire on it but paint is done and it’s on to the hookups.

I flipped to the lower rez forearms from Halo CE and grabbed Sgt. Johnson’s pauldrons partly to save time and partly because I liked them better.

It seems to pass at 5 ft so I’m happy there.

Always great to see another Halo 3 build!! As others have said, that's a sweet helmet. I'm keen to see it all finished
