Halo 3 Ghost?

I just read up on the 'Guardian' Multiplayer map on Halopedia, and I was sorta scared about Narrows, Foundry, Valhalla, Guardian, and Sandtrap, as there were Reports about the maps being 'haunted'. As the reports say, that a ghost haunts the said maps, this ghost wields the Spartan Laser, as to what's wierd is, the Spartan Laser isn't Default to Guardian .

Lols, I've heard about this many a time bungie has already looked through this matter and as it turns out its just a player lagging in game producing something a clone affecting the AI of the game giving it the ability to pretty much kill everything. It's not haunting, just lagged. Theres also a glitch you can do to give this effect, Go you youtube and search cmneir click his name and go to halo 3 tricks playlist and find the episode that involves the ghosts of halo. Sorry bout burstin your bubble with this though.

I read about this and Jesmikz908's explanation and I really want it to happen to me! There's a whole halopedia page about it. One guy and his friend were attacked by a floating white spartan on guardian who only had plasma grenades and stuck everytime! It would be so much funny to run away from. Like ultra juggernaught!

I just watched that one video with 'Anti-Noob' and 'TheUnderdogg' and their experience with it. It really freaked me out with the music they play with it, plus the ending, pissed my pants .

One thing I have to ask about Anti-Noob and TheUnderdogg's experience, why didn't they just quit out and save their pants from getting soiled? What did they think it was like that horror film, Where you die in the game, You die in real life? Lol!

Edit: And the freaky stories for me is, what about the Local games where the Ghosts appear? With a guy just messing around in Forge and what-not on Local?

Hahas yeah I've heard of the ghosts. As other people said the random killing USUALLY is another player lagging from another game killing another person in a different game. But it's just so weird finding that they can throw grenade backwards, slide, and all that sort of weird stuff..

I could picture that being an amazing episode of RvB. Kinda reminds me of the first episode,

It's an actual player experiencing lag as he joined the game. The slides and and throw backwards is lag.

there are some people who claim things like this, but the only actual ghost in halo i ever experienced first hand was on blackout, where an orange character joined my game and didnt show up on the players list, this character had no animations what-so-ever, and it shot us through walls.

the rest of the ghosts i've seen or experienced have been disproven


theres the hoax where a weapon shoots you from above, its a common glitch that people pass of as a ghost. In forge, have one player a monitor and the other a player, put the weapon you want "ghostified" on the ground, and both players try and pick up the weapon at the same time (NEEDS TO BE PRECISE).

if done correctly the character's arms will be in a weird position, and the "ghost weapon" will be flying around above the map as the character moves. when you shoot the ghost weapon in the sky will be the source of the shots, so it will appear as though it actually is a ghost.

the orange guy on Blackout still has no explanation, though

At first I was like awww its a nice ghost then it turned evil. Why didn't the guy try to stick it? It was using stickys so maybe they could've hurt it by sticking it.
