Stupid mod Idea I had for my armor, you guys think I can hold a camel bag in the back of the chest peice? I was planning to attach the camel pouch directly to the harness to avoid bad weight distribution on the chestplate.
they are only like 2 liters, so not really that large.depends how big they get full. i do have some space in mine.
On my first suit I did this, a strap at the back of my shin connecting to the tights which connected to my belt , was a PAIN to get on. But I didn’t have boots (armoured boots) I had normal boots. The strap are on either side of my knee and are button push from the inside for easy access. I wouldnrecomend sewing the nylon loops if you know how to. I did not.
did you just glue it to the shoe? cause thats what im kinda thinking ofOn my first suit I did this, a strap at the back of my shin connecting to the tights which connected to my belt , was a PAIN to get on. But I didn’t have boots (armoured boots) I had normal boots.
On my new suit my shins sit ON my boots and I don’t have any padding because they are that tight of a fit they can’t come off,

That’s it before it was sanded and painted.
No the pieces are attached around the boot with some and elastic.did you just glue it to the shoe? cause thats what im kinda thinking of
right okay, one thing im concerned about is how well my leg will actually fit on the shin peice because it has to be streached significantly in order to fit my legs.

yes the knee is built into the shin peiceright okay,
Is the knee attached to the shin?
you can always add some foam for padding, when I first made mine I printed it out like 3 times even though I scaled it before to my measurements.
I just guessed and sent a test print through and got it right first time lolWhen it came to the shin the hard part is getting your foot through the tight point. This is where printing sizing rings would come Into handy.
I dont have any padding in my armor so I had to use the thigh straps to keep them in place.
I dont know if I should put on another coat and pray or just sand it down and reapply bondo and all that jazz.
the knee piece and shin piece are combined already because its a halo 3 asset. As for how to? I presume Velcro or magnetsHow did you get your shin and knee to secure to each other? It looks like they barely contact and when I did a test fit, same answer. I am dealing with the problem on how to have it be in between the quad and shin but not clank around. Thanks in advance!
Ohh! I have Mark V files and they are separate pieces, but identical. Thank you!the knee piece and shin piece are combined already because its a halo 3 asset. As for how to? I presume Velcro or magnets
You might need to start with a coarser grit to remove the drip effectively, then finish with fine grit for a smooth surfaceUPDATE!!! (kinda)
I started some painting on failed prints as I wait for the main pieces to print and when paint drips at certain spots should I just sand it down with a fine grit and hit it again? I know this is a stupid question but id like to get yalls advice.
