This is the progress of the completed Halo 4 Nerf Assault Rifle I made. Let me know what you think! Plan on making a second to sell out of a Nerf Recon though. But anyways, I am really happy how this came out! Nerf Darts are a slight issue when shooting but I don't care bout that. More used for my armor coming soon.

this gun is awesomely simple, I never thought about using nerf guns as a base, you should make a sniper like this

interesting way of doing it, looks good! have you thought of blocking the "cooling vents" on the barrel with bondo? or is that part of the custom aesthetic??

Just custom since its a Nerf Gun, plus I don't know how to use bondo, nor do I have the proper area to work with it.

Good job I never though about using a Nerf gun. Just as a recommendation you should add some foam to the area around the mag well to make it look a big boxier.

Nice work! That looks pretty cool, the silhouette is pretty close already. I might give this a shot once I wrap up a few other projects.

If you are looking for a material to work with to get some of the other details, you could try using sintra (a heat-moldable pvc plastic, bonds with crazy glue), and epoxy putty in place of bondo.

I must say as a near expert on 'halo guns' (UNSC mostly, not expert on cov.) This reminds me of the MA5 series rifle in the comics, good work. You said this still fired correct?

You'll probably get gigged for posting on a topic that didn't have a reply in more than 3 months, but since you did, the main gun is the Nerf Rayven & the front parts are from the Nerf Recon
