What i'd wanna see with Halo 4, a Mercenaries II type destructable environment. Everything is destructable in that game. You can even stick C4 to humvees and then "throw" them into things and detonate the C4 remotely. Remotely detonating and proximity detonating explosive charges would also be awesome! Imagine being able to throw a fusion crate on the back of a warthog with a remote charge on it and then bailing out just before it goes sailing into a large squad of brutes and grunts.... talk about an awesome explosion and kill rate!

When exactly did Bungie officially say:
"There isn't going to be a Halo 4, Instead we are making Halo 3 Recon"
So what!? Halo 3 Recon is in the game... Halo 3, Not only is it set in the same Timeline, Planet, and storyline, It's also the same game!
Halo 3 Recon IS Halo 3, If it wasn't it would be "Halo Recon" They would use a different engine, and different locations.
So Halo 3 Recon IS Halo 3, Halo 3 Recon isn't Replacing Halo 4. They could be working on Halo 4 right now aswell as Halo 3 Recon right now as we speak! You know what Bungie are like, They don't mention projects until they are about half way through finishing it. They started Halo 3 Recon in March. They just kept it a secret.
Oh, not to mention, if there will be a Halo 4 (Which there will, Either that or a movie) Then it will be created by Microsoft not Bungie. Two completely different game developers, which means if Bungie aren't working on Halo 4 And Halo 3 Recon, Just one of them, then it will be finished in half the time, And so will Halo 4 if Microsoft make it, as they have no cooperation with Halo 3 Recon.
Why did you even bring this up? I think every single Halo 3 player on this planet knows about Halo 3 Recon by now, We don't really need you informing us on a topic related on a completely different game.
Get your facts right next time.
PS. Bungie have no cooperation with Halo Wars, Halo Wars will be made by Ensemble Studios, The only Link that there is, is the release of the Mythic Map Pack, that comes with Halo Wars.

and NO, it would not ruin storyline, cuse many times in the book and so, they talk about how they "Change scopes", and they change the caliber. U shoud be able to put on silencer on some weapons, so u "dont show up ass a red dot on enemy radar". And much more.

id say the only thing they need to put in the next halo game (not halowars but halo recon)are different attachments to your guns like the silencer on the smg but i think they are going to doing that any way.

So basicaly the Idea is that you pic a Race then like a class. The play as that class.
And for halo 4 I rekon you should be able to pick,

I like how almost everything said here is available in halo ce and halo custom edition. You CAN fly other ships like pelicans, you can change what the guns shoot. All of this available through wonderful modding and downloadable maps. The only thing it lacks is good graphics.
But for halo 4...
i would want the armor to mean something (this was mentioned above and i am agreeing) this would make it more like a class system which people are familiar with. this would give the gave more depth and add complexity to it making your achievements count for more than your looks.
more tools like repair things and such maybe even anti vehicle mines
customizable weapons like CoD and maybe bigger maps so there could be 32 or more players
