No offense, but all the common tips have already been posted many times. All you have to do is read them, just like you would read them here. Just beacuse something wasn't written specifically for you doesn't mean it can't help you.

I've been using foam rubber mats to make my Reach UNSC Trooper armor and it's coming out better than expected. Since the Halo CE Marines have very basic shapes to their armor parts, you can probably make your armor from foam rubber easily. You can also apply some heat by using a heat gun to the parts that need to be shaped or curved but be very careful as you can easily burn the foam rubber or yourself. Everything you could possibly need to know to do your build, from start to finish, is here in the forums. Like Ventrue said, you just have to look and do some reading. Nobody is trying to put you down.
All we know is that you want to make a Marine from Halo CE. We don't know what you plan to make it out of, what methods you are going to use, what your plans are. We know next to nothing about what you want, except for what you want your end product to be. You might post some more info about what you will be doing, or what you plan to do, then we can give you more specific advice geared towards your build.

I agree. There are different ways to build armor here, but if you don't specify which method you'll be using, then all we can do is tell you to go read stickies.
And also, you may want to put up some progress pics(if you have any) if you don't want the mods to come here and close down this thread.
