I'm excited to finally announce my next build, the spartan mk7! This project is in collaboration with a friend of mine who is modelling the armor, so check out my insta to see the credits. I have a few other projects on the backburner which I'll definitely be finishing, but for now this project will be taking the spotlight. I'll be posting regular updates as I make progress, so feel free to ask away if you have any questions!

Saw this on Insta, had to make sure I keep track of it from the source! Leg armor looks really well scaled, are you able to slip it on or does it snap in half like a clamshell configuration?

Saw this on Insta, had to make sure I keep track of it from the source! Leg armor looks really well scaled, are you able to slip it on or does it snap in half like a clamshell configuration?

I'm able to slip on in fairly easily, each piece is printed in one go, no slicing needed!

Thanks! They're pretty nice files as well, so if you're looking to make a set of mk7 armor then you'll want them!

I also use armorsmith, and I haven't had any scaling issues with it so far, if you're having trouble with the program then I'd recommend contacting the creator, they're good at responding to questions!

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it! I try hard to make sure that my prints look nice even though it's not that big of a deal, but it's super satisfying when the prints turn out nice and clean!

Thanks! I used esun pla+ and the bigger parts took around 4 days each, while the smaller pieces only took about 1 day each

Happy 405th day everyone! Here's a quick update for the mk7, got a gauntlet printed! The other one is almost ready, and soon progress on the shoulder armor will commence as well. Happy with how it turned out, it's a really nice file.
