Halo Landfall Film Location? And Halo Type Locations?

Hey guys so I tryed researching this but couldn't find much. I was wondering if anyone knew where they Filmed the Halo short film Landfall? Along with that, I heard a production company was working on a live action Halo film based around the Spartan II's and the Program. An it got me thinking, what kind of locations fit the Halo universe?

The Landfall shorts were filmed at a Landfill in Wellington, New Zealand.

There was several companies involved in the film. Bungie Studios, Neill Blomkamp (Director) , WETA Digital, and Origami Digital LLC.
