Reading is faster than re-inventing. And probably save you a ton in wasted material.

There's probably 500 foam build threads here. Spend a day reading some. In a few hours you will learn numerous tips and techniques and you can read about other people's mistakes rather than make them yourself.

There's thousands of man-hours in the existing build threads. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't read a few of them.

Not to mention all the amazing foam builder YouTube channels.

You will find a ton of help here for foam crafting. Something I like to urge new folks on, that doesnt get enough attention, is to make sure you wear proper protective gear. Heating foam and the glue you will use are not good for you. Invest in a good respirator that can protect you from vapors and particulates while you craft! I got mine right at harbor freight. Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc carry them.
