halo reach credits problem.

hey guys wondering if someone could shed some light on my situation. i just took my xbox of xbox live because i just had it on for the free live weekend. i created a firefight gametype which i set on legendary with all skulls on exept i made myself invulnerable to damge a gave myself a rocket launcher and a sword with unlimited ammo. three sets per game and i was making around 6500 points each time. now after im off xbox live i can only get 60 points after each game, even a whole level on campaing on legendary without dying or my firefight gametype i always get 60 points and its pissing me off! please someone tell me how to get my credits working again. but if you credits system is working try my firefight gametype because it will level you up fast! i dont really want to get back on xbox live because i dont have a wireless adapter and i use so much of my money for my armor so i cant really buy the live either. i really want this fixed so i can get the gungnir helm and make a render of it for pep and other stuff. help would be much appreciated!

Bungie stated that offline games will score you less credits than online, typically around 40-60 credits. I'm having the same issue. I've just moved into uni and they've restricted online gaming via their internet network, so I'm now offline until I return home for xmas. I think this was to pull the reigns in on people who'd farm credits offline on campaign and firefight.

The credit system for firefight is based on time spent in the game. It is something along the lines of 100 cred every minute. Those arent exact so dont flame me if you know the correct amount. That being said, you get deductions for all the added stuff like invulnerability, unlimited ammo, increased melee and weapon damage, increased speed, and invisibilty(unless its armor). But you get small bonuses for head shots, medals, sprees, clearing sets without dying, enemy types(grunts, Jackals, Skirmishers, Brutes, Elites, Hunters, and rank of enemies, Grunt, Grunt Specialist, and so on. You also screwed yourself when you logged into xbox live, you will always get less cred for EVERYTHING offline now. Hope this helps.

Daily Credit Cap. Once you hit that, you can't gain more credits. In Firefight, credits are awarded for kills gained.

Local games, such as Firefight, Customs anf Forge, only give you 60 or so Credits. Even online.

Only through Firefight Matchmaking do you earn a lot of credits. And commendations from Campaign give you the same amount of credits, online or offline.

thanks guys i did some research and you are correct i just ordered one of those wireless conecter things and a year of live so ill be working hard to get that gungnir helm and render it. my dad just bought a cnc so i am going to start my titanium project soon. and once i have it ill pep it and render it for you guys. i guess i really did screw myself with the free live thing.
