Alright. First pic is a rough sketch of what the front of the undersuit will be. The top (including gloves) will be a one piece under armor type material, the leg covers the same ( may just try to find full body suit and wear shortened military pants over them). The lighter patches are vinyl, for some detail and thickness, as well a serving as the base for me to glue the magnetic attachment points on to. The second picture is the Halo 4 infantryman. Does anyone know of any existing files of his torso armor? I would appreciate the assistance with locating them.

Done with resin. So far just one coat. May add another. For now I'm going to let it sit for the rest of the day. I'll resin the inside tomorrow, then fiberglass, it. Then spend the next day sanding everything and starting the bondo application

Amazing progress, How did you reinforce the over all shape to hold up to the resin weight initially?

Nothing actually. Guess I got lucky. There was a small section (2x2 inch panel at most) that was already a bit sunken that may have dropped a little more, but nothing a smear of bondo wont fix I'm sure

hey guys. It's my first post here, and also my first solo project. I was planning on doing a custom Reach marine, and since i couldn't find any military police helmet builds, i decided to post my own progress. This is my first time working solo with pepakura (last time was 5 years ago helping my dad make my brother a mark 5 suit for halloween). so i'll be posting progress picks as I go. Any pointers for future projects are appreciated. thanks

This is awesome. I have been struggling on what kind of armor I wanted. Then I started thinking about my past life and realized, I was a Military Police IRL for several years - geesh, what better outfit to build than an MP/Security one. Started looking around for PEP files and really haven't found any so, this is, as you put it, going to be a custom one. I love the progress you have made so far. It has been a couple months, you can't go dark now. You need to share pictures - you are inspiring

I took a break from it and started a rogue paper build for kicks. I'm back at university now so I don't have the stuff. As soon as i get back i'll keep working and post updates. Right now i'm doing some ventures into foam

It's looking good! As someone else attempting to build while at school, I've found foam to be a lot easier to work with given space and mess restrictions, haha.
