Hasbro clone helmet improvement

So a while back I acquired a hasbro clone trooper helmet and its been just sitting on a box taunting me with it's ugliness. So I decided it was finally time to spruce it up a little bit. I'm 95% it would be a waste of time to even attempt to get it 501st approvable. However for something that is going to sit in my helmet collection I want it to at least look good. That being said I may have forgotten to take some pics during disassembly and reassembly.
The good news is I took some pics while enhancing it. Once whats on there hardens and I grab another tube of jb weld I'll finish off filling in all the holes and such. Then I will proceed to the sanding part....then fill...then sand...ect.

Now since I know there are 501st members here I would like some opinions if you would be so kind. (The visor area I may still alter again since it feels too large.)

Some minor things to point out. I'm going to fill and redrill the holes in the front. I'm going to make 2 more lines on the sides below the ear tower. The ear will have a proper hole and not whatever it had originally. And with eventuality it will have a proper paint job and the such.

Well had a little bit of time to sand. Honestly I dread this part the most.

Also I'm just sure I'm just not using high enough grit sand paper, but it almost never seems to be flush and smooth to the other surface. Its like its pretty obvious that I filled something in. Any suggestions from anyone who knows how to get past this step?

Just be aware its a bit of work. Also make sure you scuff up surfaces before trying to put (Body filler, epoxy putty, or what have you.) that way it will stick properly.

On a side note between the threads that still have pics on the 501st clone site and other areas I noticed there wasnt a large abundance that would reshape the ear pieces and realter the holes the bottom sides of the helmet. So to further help it work on those too.

Wow forgot to update a bit. Well after a lot of work I kinda burnt myself out on it. However I slapped some sandable primer on it so at least it's a little presentable while it sits on the shelf.

Yeah no matter how I slice it the helmet is just a bit too large. I can make something that is definitely displayable, but not 501st approvable.

Alrighty so I finally got the proper attachement for the dremel to make some shallow ears. Now they look proper. Still waiting for the epoxy putty to completely harden before moving on to paint. That being said I will be doing waxers phase 2 paintjob on his helmet. (Has numa)

Its coming along nicely, Do you ever plan on making the whole suit? I was debating on making a clone trooper but decided myself to do a Force awakens stormtrooper i'm building right now, but defiantly make a clone there just so cool. Keep up the good work!

Oh yeah. I have the full fiberglass suit up at peters place atm. Along with a couple phase 2 helmets. This is just more or less a display project. I realllllly doubt it would be worth the extra work to try and make this 501st approvable.
I even have a commander gree helmet here as well.

Not too much further to finish this helmet. Finally in the home stretch. Just need to do some minor sanding once all the epoxy putty fully dries and then on to weathering. Hopefully you guys like this as much as I am.
