Having Trouble With Pep Designer 3

First off yeah yeah I know this is hilarious, especially since I've already built an entire suit already...now that that's out of the way. I'm in the process of building new shins using Pep 3 and when I print the pages the first couple pages lines show up very faint while the numbers are good and bold, then after about 4 pages I've got no lines printed and just numbers. I have transparency set to 0%, and Ive played with it, and it had no effect. I'm also using a brand new ink cartridge, so I know that's not the issue.

Before someone goes on a rant, yes I read stickies, and even tried a google search with no help. Anybody got any quick advise on this one?

You can try altering some settings in the Print and Paper Settings menu, like changing between Vector and Bitmap printing.

thanks for the help guys, but I failed to mention I've already tried doing all the above. I'm just kind of baffled by this, as I didn't have any trouble printing a whole suit last year. I was using Pep2 and not 3 though, so I'm sure its in the settings somewhere.

I'll bet you've already tried reinstalling too, eh?

I find it interesting that you mentioned that as you print, the printing gets worse. I have found that you can try 3 things to eliminate your printer as an issue. All of these, except for the last one can be found in your computer's Printer Settings:

1: Run a Cartridge Clean on the printer

2: Run a cartridge Alignment on the printer

3: See if you printer drivers are up to date

Last Resort: try to use another cartridge, there is a possibility of it being defective.

I would think that if these do not solve your problem, then you can eliminate the printer as your problem

Make sure it says print lines clearly and not smoothly.

I got it...I'm not sure what the deal was, but I got out of Pep3, canceled the print job, rebooted my machine then redid everything and it printed fine. The valley lines are a little light, but it'll be fine.

Thanks for the help all!

oh btw when I did go back into Pep3 I made sure to recheck print lines clearly and all that jazz, so maybe it just didn't take on the first try or something, heh.
