Dinner Reservation:
We have a TENATIVE reservation for 13 at Mellow Mushroom at 8:00PM EST on Friday, October 3th: Mellow Mushroom Charlotte-Uptown · 255 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28202
The reservation is considered "tentative" as there is a sports game going on that night, and they cannot guarantee a table.
If you or someone coming with you is not on the attendance sheet, I cannot guarantee that you will have a seat. Please look at the first post and get on there ASAP.

Parking;
Parking is abundant in Charlotte, but I cannot guarantee how easy it will be to find a spot. My suggestion is parking underneath "The Green" which is a park across the street from the convention center: The Green Parking Garage · Three Wacovia Center, 435 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202. My suggestion would be to arrive in Charlotte as early as you can and lock in a spot, especially if you have a bulky suit.

Photoshoot:
I may have access to photography equipment, and I would love to get a group photo at the park called "The Green" across the street from the convention center. This will be a short and simple photoshoot, as I am unsure how hot the temperature will be. Expect the photoshoot to take place around 1:00PM on SATURDAY for about 10 to 15 minutes. It may be hot outside, so please be sure not to delay.

Any possibility on moving the reservation to Friday? Personally I think that's the better night since Saturdays always run late and important elimination games will be happening around then.

The risk is that not everyone is going to be here at Downtown Friday night, especially the lot that is staying with me. Another big issue is that most of the affordable restaurants that do take reservations for such a large group close at 9:00-10:00 on both Friday and Saturday evenings. I went with my gut after asking around and asking Noble as well, which is that usually the 405th plans dinners on Saturday night an hour after the venue is expected to close.

I have a few solutions:
-Bump our reservation to 9:00pm on Saturday, but we'd have to eat quickly and be out of the restaurant earlier than 10:00pm.
-Keep the reservation at 8:00pm, but "prolong" our stay until the eliminations are completed, and those who are interested can arrive. I can take your orders in advance and place them when we order, or we can order to-go to make sure you are fed.
-We have a "smaller", more relaxed dinner on Friday with a smaller group, and wait until one of the local restaurants has a place for us to dine in.

I apologize if these plans are an inconvenience. I did the best I could to calculate a time and day that was convenient for most, while being affordable and taking reservations. That being said, it is early enough that I may be able to adjust plans if someone can help me brainstorm.

I wouldn't stress over it too much. I won't be available to help out brainstorming until Monday. I'll be tentative for dinner it just depends who playing during the reservation.

This was an important point to bring up, and I thank you for that. I'm not all too familiar with Esports as I should be. I'll keep the discussions running to see if we can push the time back to 8:30 pm-9:00 pm, or change the day. I'll keep this thread posted, thanks for bearing with me!
