HD Master chief w/ silhouette cameo

Starting my new Master chief build with the Silhouette cameo cutting machine.



Had a scaling issue on the left one.

What does that machine do? It looks fancy

The machine takes the pepakura files and instead of printing them it cuts out the pieces.

Well, you can always print on the paper first. Makes for easier identification for mountain/valley folds.

I do print it out first, The machine uses registration marks for reference on were to cut.

Work looks great! I am impressed with the "No Edge ID" pep.
I am hoping to get a Cameo one of these days. How is its
performance and speed?

My wife has a Cameo and I've thought about using it for cutting the pieces. Seeing this thread I might now give it a try. I'm worried though about the cut precision on smaller parts, and sometimes I modify the tabs as I cut.

Do you need to export the pdo file into another format that the Cameo software recognizes? The Cameo connects to a Mac system here.
