looking good so far... thats from killzone 2 right?

i still dont get why people use mud... its so messy, i prefer regular bondo..

yea tis from killzone =o i used mud cuz the face part thingy had a lot of detail and
still needed to be made stronger so normal bondo would just completely wipe out
any detail lol

The Mud looks delicious, Keep up the work not a fan of killzone but that mask looks awesome. Did you put regular goggles on the helmet?

(y)
Looks good but not a big fan of killzone. Well I played through the campaign and enjoyed it quite a bit, but after that I got bored and traded it in, Hated the nline play imensly(sp?) Actually the helghast armor was pretty cool too so I guess I'm more like 50/50 on Killzone :p

are you going to get the red glowing eyes into this beast when your finished? Someone posted a link to an Ironman mask that had the glowing eyes and that just set that thing off, Can only imagine what that would do for your helm. Keep the updates coming... Looking forward to seeing it finished.

aah someone using my file^^
cant wait to see how this turns out...
looks good already.

you possibly have pics fo it in just pep stage?

the goggles and nose thingy are both made of clay.

and yes i will be putting the red glowing eyes in >:) i already have
my ideas gathered of how it shall work.

oh yea thanks for the pep ;) no pictures of it in that stage though =(

imagine turning the corner and having that thing bump straight into your face ! o_O

nice use of different materials to get the right effects, the goggles idea is a good one!

Mind sharing your idea on the goggles lighting up? I'm still trying to figure my idea out.
Could do with a hand.

stuff to put the LEDs together. needs lots of bondo/sanding on the entire
thing still >.> gr

looking pretty sweet man.

i would say build the left hole thingy out more, or cut the right one back... they are uneven and are pretty easy to notice. but other than that everything else on it is looks like it is coming along nicely.

they are actually equal distance o_O might just be the angle or the lighting.
the reason that the left hole is open is because the tubing will be coming out
of the middle and left side

k so before you read this update scroll up and look at the previous picture
of the guts of the helmet. i did a LOT of work cleaning up the inside. took out
all the clay, took out the plastic base i built off of, fiberglassed, etc. i am also
wanting to cut the facemask off so that the helmet and mask are two seperate
pieces, but i dont know which spot would be good to cut. im posting a picture
with 3 different color lines. itd help a lot if i could get some advice on which colored
line i should cut the mask, or if you have any other ideas itd help a lot

lots of work ahead!!! planning on finishing the sanding/bondo stage next -.- then i
eventually gotta put the helmet straps back on and the glass back in the eyes
(which are now all removed for a short period of time)

ps. while i was fiberglassing it i somehow got a large drop of resin on my upper
lip and didnt know what it was o.o so i licked it off and it burned my tongue and gave
me a MONSTER stomach ache for like an hour.....never eat resin

Alright this is looking pretty sweet! Keep up the nice work.

Alright good to know. I'll be sure not to eat resin for sure now. Yeah good to know.
