Hello my fellow folk.
Hello Spartans! Long time no see, but I have returned. Not sure if I should continue this thread or create a new one. But I’ll leave that up to the mods to let me know :).

Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19 I have been blessed with free time to finish this build I have been stalling. Now hopefully cons will be back in business soon but until then I will be forging my armor! I have most of it complete, only need to finish the torso and the helmet now! I even started working on one of the prop weapons I will be holding, the Ancient Sangheili Curve Blade. I can post all foam files I used for this build as well as the blueprints for the weapons if you guys would like to use those. I’ll also be making a YouTube video soon showcasing the whole process!

I’ve started using new methods to unfold after practicing, and also I bought and have been using Armorsmith. It’s a very great program! I highly recommend it. Here are some pictures. I finished the forearms, shoulders, thighs, shins, knee guards, butt plate and now working on the helmet. I will soon be dealing and painting once I finish all the base construction.

Just reading your thread and your work is exquisite. Just want to compliment you. Helios krill is my halo Favorite armor. However, if you don't mind. May I asked for your replicated pepakura file. Is it possible to make the file for paper builds I have started with using cardstock for the armor.

Hi KeanuChanCyber ! I am going to start uploading my pepakura files soon. I have an update as well with the finished helmet and soon to be done torso! I’ll be posting the update with pics within the next few days. I use Armorsmith Designer for most of my files and templates so I will try to find a way to transfer it to a .pdo file for use in Pepakura Designer as well. Stay tuned! I’ll try to get that done as soon as I can. :D

New update! I finally finished the construction of the torso piece, and I also completely finished the helmet as well as one of the weapons I will be holding. An Ancient Sangheili Curveblade. I’ve found that if I heat seal, then use a wood burner to engrave the details BEFORE putting the pieces together with glue, it would make the detailing much easier and reduce the risk of heating and deforming the glue. Going to be dealing and painting the torso as well as strapping it next, and then finishing up the details on my other pieces. Trying to decide whether I am going to remake a couple of the other armor parts. Trying to finish this build by Halloween haha. Here are some picture updates!
