Making my first odst helmet, it’s 3d printed. Where does everyone buy their film at for their visor? Or do yall suggest something other than colored film? Thanks!

I've seen people go from face shields with window tint for a basic visor to buying a plastic sheet that is thick enough to hold it's shape but thin enough to be folded without breaking like acetate. I also saw somewhere that someone was buying 9x12 sheets at .03" thickness. Not sure where that was. My guess would be Amazon for a good staying point. Window tint can also be bought on there for super cheap

There are many ways people approach making visors for ODST helmets. It's worth checking out the tutorial index and scrolling down to 3. Detailing > Visor section to see a list of different methods. Here's a link to the tutorial index:

Hugh Holder's tutorial for example, shows how he made an ODST visor using tinted sheets of plastic.

Personally, I vacuum form my visors, dye them, and spray on chrome. See the tutorial for that process here: Dying and Chroming Visors (Cheap) TUTORIAL

I got mine from Mediocre Studios. But, I did do mine off a specific set from Galactic Armory, and he worked with their stuff, so if it's another file then you'd prob have to email him. He was very good, very copen with communications and fast. He had to send me a replacement because the first visor got heat warped, and he in fact sent 2 in case was was damaged in shipping (which it was lol). You could also get it directly from Galactic Armory themselves, if you are using their files.
