Hi and welcome to the 405th. I'm ventrue and I'll be your guide for today.

Note that nobody here gets paid in any way (Did you notice? It's free!), so please be patient when asking questions. Most members have jobs and lives beyond their hobby.

Also, make sure to watch Adam's introductory video and to read through the stickies. Stickies are threads with orange symbols at the top of the page that are especially important and there are several tutorials on scaling among them. I also know of a really good one that isn't stickied yet, so using the search function can't hurt either. If there are any questions left unanswered after that please post them in the right board. This question doesn't have anything to do with armour related videos, which is where you posted it.

To get a little more into detail on the question: Scaling is a very individual thing and the results will always be better when you do it yourself rather than let somebody do it for you. In any case, your height alone isn't enough to do it. You need to know which armour you want, which models to use, what your stature is and maybe whether you have twisted bones or a funny nose that will need special attention. With all that in mind, the first attempt still is more of a guess and you will have to test fit the pieces.

heres what i did it came out perfect. measure yoursulf head to toe i measured 67 then add about 4 inches to that
go to 2d menu(at the top)>change scale>set factor>then at the bottom open window there should be a number like this 86.000000>change the 86 to your number in inches
***dont forget to add the 4 inches!!!!
***also make sure you have pepakura designer not pepakura veiwer
pepakura Designer: http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/download/designer.html
im currently making my first set of armor so yeah if you need help just message me or sumthin good luck!!!

this sounds like an excelent method. sounds like the best one ive seen yet. two things. 1) are you positive that that 86 stands for inches as in masterchief is 86 inches tall . and b) are you positive that all of the pepakura files on halo costuming wiki are disigned with that 86 in. stature in line.

For Mark VI just use proportionate scaling method. I used it on 2 builds so far and they both went great. Do a search for it here on the boards. This could have also went into one of the Help! stickies.
