I made a part for the collar/breacher Reach chest piece attachment in Solidworks then saved it as a STL and imported it into Meshmixer to make sure the part was manifold and to fix any errors. But when I tried to repair the errors it messed up the part. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Well never mind. I went back into Solidworks to see if I could fix it there and it turned out that the two straps in the front were at a slight angle, so when I mirrored the right half onto the left, they weren't lining up and it wouldn't combine the two halves into one solid body. I just redrew the straps on a new front facing plane to guarantee they would line up and that let me combine them and resolve the issue.
